Student Ambassadors and Transcript from #HigherEdChat 3/23/11

Whether it’s someone you designate, recruit, volunteer, or someone who just steps up to the plate, it is important to have real-life representation of your school. Student ambassadors are often outstanding students who volunteer support to promote the school’s image to prospective students, alumni, and friends. These student ambassadors can assist the school in promoting and continuing to advance spirit, pride and tradition among all students, staff and faculty.

In March 23rd’s #HigherEdChat, we discussed school’s that used student ambassadors, how they go about choosing this designated group of people, the benefits of having a group of people representing your school, how this group helps to increase lead generation and enrollments, and even the specific tools, like social media, that these students use that are helpful in meeting the goals of their schools.
